Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes vs Christian & Matt Hardy
Matt and Drew started the match and Matt had the early advantage by working on Drew’s arm. Christian tags in and hits an uppercut to Drew. Christian made the match extra technical for an second until Drew got some punches in. Christian hit a missile dropkick for a nearfall. Cody got in and hit some punches and Christian countered with a flapjack. The babyfaces worked on Cody with good tag team tactics. Cody hit Matt with his exposed knee and tagged in Drew. Drew went for the Future Shock but Matt threw both men out and hit a dropkick to Drew. Christian hit a moonsault to both heels.

The show returned with Cody attacking Matt with a side Russian leg sweep and missed a knee drop. Christian placed his weight on Cody and went for his uppercut but Drew distracted him. Cody hit the Alabama slam (Hardcore Holly’s finisher if you were interested). Both heels worked on Christian outside of the ring. Cody hit a brain buster to Christian for a nearfall. Cody hit a sick standing dropkick to Christian for two nearfalls. Drew got back in the match with an armbar submission and both heels continued to work on Christian. Cody went for another Alabama Slam but Christian countered and the both guys clotheslined each other.

Matt got back in the match and worked on Drew for multiple nearfalls. Matt hit a tornado DDT and the referee was distracted. Matt went for the rollup for a nearfall. Matt unintentionally hit Christian with a clothesline and Drew hit a big boot to Matt for the win.
Winners: Drew McIntyre & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes

Post match, Christian picked up Matt and offered a handshake. Both men shock hands and the crowd booed.

Drew McIntyre vs. Christian
They look at the briefcase before Drew kicks Christian and follows that with forearms. He throws Christian to the floor and Drew goes after him. They fight on the apron with Christian connecting with a knee and Drew with a forearm. Christian with a pendulum kick that sends Drew to the floor and then Christian with a cross body onto Drew and both men are down. Christian sends Drew into the ring and Christian goes back up top and he hits a cross body for a near fall. Drew is in the ropes and Christian leaps onto Drew’s back to choke him. Christian goes to the apron but Drew drops Christian on the top rope. Drew gets a near fall. Drew sends Christian into the turnbuckles and then he punches Christian until the referee warns him. Drew with an arm bar and chin lock. Christian punches and slaps Drew and then connects with an elbow in the corner. Christian tries for a tornado DDT but Drew punches Christian and knocks Christian off the turnbuckles and Christian goes to the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and Drew gets a near fall on Christian. Drew returns to the arm bar and then he punches Christian but Christian punches Drew. Drew runs Christian into the turnbuckles. Christian is put on the turnbuckles and Christian with a knee and then he hits the tornado DDT and he gets a near fall. Christian gets to his feet first and he punches Drew and he tries for a running forearm and Drew catches him. Christian counters and hits an inverted DDT and gets a near fall. Christian goes to the turnbuckles and hits a drop kick but only gets a two count. Drew punches Christian and pushes him into the corner. Christian with a drop toe hold and then Christian goes to the turnbuckles but he comes off and is met with a kick from McIntyre. Drew can only get a near fall on Christian. Drew catapults Christian into the turnbuckles but Christian with an elbow. Christian goes to the turnbuckles again but Drew stops him and Drew tries for a German suplex from the turnbuckles but Christian holds on to the turnbuckles and knocks Drew off. Christian with a sunset flip off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Drew with a neck breaker to the knee for a near fall.

Drew sets for the Future Shock DDT but Christian with a back body drop. Christian goes to the turnbuckles again and hits the corkscrew back elbow. Drew tries for Future Shock, but Christian counters and tries for the Killswitch but Drew gets to the ropes. On the break, Drew connects with a thumb to Christian’s eye and Drew sends Christian into the ropes and then hits the Future Shock DDT for the three count.
Winner: Drew McIntyre

Before our next match, we take a look back at last week’s Peep Show when Matt Hardy attacked Christian. Those two men are now going to be part of a team in the next match.

Christian & Matt Hardy vs. Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer
Hardy and Hawkins start things off and they lock up with Hardy putting Hawkins in a side head lock. Hardy with a shoulder tackle. Hawkins tries for a hip toss but Hardy blocks it and hits a short arm clothesline on Hawkins. Hardy works on the arm and sends Hawkins to the mat. Hawkins with a forearm and he runs Hardy into his corner. Archer tags in and then he Irish whips Hawkins into Hardy in the corner. Archer gets a near fall on Hardy and then he chokes Hardy in the ropes.

Archer argues with the referee and that allows Hawkins to kick Hardy in the head. Archer with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Hardy punches Archer but Archer with a kick and Irish whip. Archer charges into an elbow and then Hardy with a tornado DDT and both men are down. Christian pulls Hardy over the top rope to the floor and then he walks away.

Archer pulls Hardy back into the ring and Archer with the inverted DDT and he tags in Hawkins who hits the top rope elbow drop for the three count.
Winners: Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer

The Peep Show with special guest Matt Hardy
The Peep Show is ready with Christian and his guest in the ring. Christian also has a bunch of ladders in the ring and a briefcase is above the ring. Christian talks about one of the most dangerous but most rewarding matches becomes a pay per view in less than three weeks. Christian mentions that some of the participants have been named and him and his guest are two of those people. Christian says that Matt has fallen off as many ladders as he has.

Christian says that it has been a crazy few months for Matt. Christian mentions that Matt was just reinstated and he beat Drew McIntyre and Drew was also deported. Christian says that it was good to see Matt in the ring with Drew and not see Matt get dropped on his head. Matt wonders if that was a backhanded compliment. Matt says that during his career, he has fought an uphill battle against corporate politics, was suspended, fired, brought back, backstabbed, and he was also dropped on his head. Matt says that he kept coming back and before Matt can tell us that he will not die, Christian tells everyone that Matt will not win the Money in the Bank match.

Christian says that they both know the risks. Matt says that it is the match they put on the map and made famous. Christian points out that neither man has reaped the benefits of the briefcase hanging above the ring. Christian says that nobody deserves to win it more than either one of them. Christian says that he wanted Matt on the Peep Show tonight, Christian tells Matt that even though they both deserve it, Christian is going to win the Money in the Bank Match.

Matt agrees that their careers paralleled each other. They have won tag titles, United States titles, Intercontinental Titles, and ECW titles. Matt says that they have both been unable to win the World Title. Matt mentions the briefcase and he starts to climb the ladder. Matt says that it is real that whoever brings down the briefcase and controls the contract, it will change everything. Matt says that he will be that person. Christian says that it looks like both of them are confident. Christian tells Matt that neither of them are Drew McIntyre. Neither of them are the chosen one. No one liked either of them. They have had to crawl, scratch, and fight to get everything. Christian says that he is sick of seeing people get opportunity after opportunity to be handed everything without earning it. Christian says that it is his time and he is going to win the Money in the Bank match.

Matt asks Christian if he doesn’t think that he is frustrated as well. Matt says that he has been trying his entire career to become World Champion. He says that when all is said and done, he hopes that the two men who will be battling at the end are the two people who deserve it the most and it is the two of them. Matt and Christian both say that they are going to win the match at the same time. They both drop their microphones and Christian looks like he is going to leave the ring but he returns to the center of the ring and he is punched by Matt and Matt sends Christian into the ladder.

Christian versus Curt Hawkins (w/ Vance Archer)
They lock up and Christian with a waist lock but Hawkins with a standing switch. Hawkins with a shoulder tackle and then he has something to say to Christian. Hawkins mocks Christian’s search for peeps and Christian with a slap and drop toe hold. Christian with an arm bar but Hawkins with a knee and punch. Hawkins with another punch. Christian with a leaping kick and Hawkins goes to the floor.

Christian with a baseball slide to Hawkins and Christian goes to the floor and brings Hawkins back in. Archer tries to interfere but Christian sees him coming. Christian with a cross body from the top turnbuckle for a near fall. Hawkins goes to the apron and Christian gets a shoulder as he approaches. Hawkins with a back body drop that sends Christian to the floor. Archer is about to attack Christian but the referee sees it and sends Archer to the back. We go to commercial.

We are back and Hawkins with a chin lock and his knee on Christian’s chest. Hawkins with punches and they lock up. Christian with punches but Hawkins with a knee. Hawkins with a kick and a near fall. Hawkins with punches to the midsection followed by a knee and punches. Hawkins with an elbow to the head but Christian with a kick and punches. Christian tries for a tornado DDT but Hawkins pushes Christian away and he lands awkwardly on his chest. Hawkins with a slam attempt but Christian with an Edge-O-Matic and both men are down. Christian punches Hawkins and then hits a round house punch.

Christian searches for Peeps and then he hits a neck breaker and gets a near fall. Hawkins with a punch and then he sends Christian into the turnbuckles. Hawkins pulls Christian off the turnbuckles and then he hits a slam for a near fall. Christian with another punch and he goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick and Christian gets a near fall. Christian goes up top again and he tries for a cross body but he misses. Hawkins tries to take advantage of Christian’s error and gets a near fall. Hawkins with a kick but Christian hits the pendulum kick and then he hits the back elbow from the turnbuckles. Christian with the Killswitch and he gets the three count.
Winner: Christian

A Kick-Off To Tristian Month – Looking Back At Wrestlemania XX

March 14th 2004, Wrestlemania XX, Madison Square Gerden. This was were Christian and Trish Stratus, who we all came to know simply as Tristian, came to be. Christian and Chris Jericho’s friendship came to and abrupt end after Christian had annihilated Trish in a match on Monday Night Raw, that was made by Eric Bischoff a few weeks earlier, which set-up the match between Christian and Jericho at the biggest stage of them all, Wrestlemania.

Shockingly, we saw Trish slap Jericho, not once, but twice and then we found out that Trish and Christian had this planned out all along, they had a relationship going on behind the back of, what seemed like, their best friend Chris Jericho. MVP, Christian & Kofi Kingston vs Vance Archer, Curt Hawkins & Dolph Ziggler
Hawkins and MVP start things off and Hawkins has a punch blocked but Porter with punches of his own. Porter with a head and arm overhead suplex for a near fall. Christian tags in and he punches Hawkins followed by a drop kick for a near fall. Porter tags in and he punches Hawkins. Hawkins sends Porter into the corenr and then he tags in Ziggler. Ziggler sends Hawkins into the corner but Porter with a boot to Hawkins. Porter then knocks Archer off the apron and then he back body drops Ziggler to the floor. Kingston and Christian also join in and Porter with a pescado onto Archer while Kofi hits a suicide dive onto Ziggler and Christian with a baseball slide to Hawkins as we go to commercial.

We are back and Porter with an Irish whip and flying forearm into the corner for a near fall. Kofi tags in and gets a rollup for a near fall. Kofi with an arm bar on Ziggler but Ziggler reverses and he puts Kofi in a side head lock. Kofi with a leaping back elbow for a near fall. Ziggler with a knee and then he works on the arm but Kofi with an arm drag and drop kick. Kofi with a side Russian leg sweep and then he runs a few laps around Ziggler but instead of doing the boom drop Kofi goes after Hawkins who tries to interfere. Ziggler hits Kofi from behind and then Ziggler with a leap frog neck snap for a near fall. Archer tags in and punches Kofi followed by a swinging neck breaker. Archer with a rear chin lock. Kofi with punches but Archer with a running back elbow and he gets a near fall. Hawkins tags back in and he kicks Kofi followed by a gutbuster from Archer as Hawkins gets a near fall. Hawkins with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Hawkins with a rear chin lock and he tries to isolate the arm.

Kofi with a jawbreaker and Ziggler tags in and hits Kofi with a double sledge to the back. Ziggler hits a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Ziggler with an elbow followed by a slam. Kofi with a head scissors and then he tries to make the tag but Ziggler stops him. Kofi with a sunset flip and then he tags in Christian. Christian punches Ziggler a few times followed by a flapjack. Ziggler goes to the ropes and Christian stands on Ziggler’s back. Christian slingshots to the floor and Hawkins knows what is coming next but Christian sees him coming and Christian punches Hawkins. This allows Ziggler to avoid the punch. Ziggler with a kick to Christian and then Ziggler with a drop kick to Porter that knocks him off the apron. Christian with the inverted DDT but he can only get a near fall. Christian knocks Archer off the apron.

Christian with a back kick and then Christian with a sunset flip off the turnbuckles but Ziggler rolls through. Ziggler with a leaping leg lariat and he gets a near fall. Christian with a punch to Ziggler and then Christian goes up top but Ziggler follows but Christian knocks him off. Christian with a missile drop kick and then all six men get into the ring. Porter with a facebuster to Archer while Hawkins goes after Kofi. Porter with a cross body to Archer that sends both men over the top rope to the floor. Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise on Hawkins and they all go to the floor. Ziggler sends Christian into the turnbuckles and then he tries for the Zig Zag but Christian holds on to the ropes. Christian hits the Killswitch for the three count.
Winners: Christian, Kofi Kingston & MVP

NWA Legends Fanfest 2007 Promo And Candids
