The Abraham Washington Show
with ECW Champion Christian
Abe welcomes everyone to his show and the people of Memphis have confused applause for booing. Abe talks about the rumors for his recent absence and says that NBC has been asking him to replace Conan O’Brien. Abe says he turned it down and asks Tony why and Tony tells the truth and says that Abe isn’t that good. Abe turned it down because of the WWE Universe. Abe says that he is loyal as well as entertaining. Tony asks Abe to be funny.

Abe brings out the current ECW Champion Christian and he takes his spot at the couch. Abe congratulates Christian on his victory over Ezekiel Jackson. Abe tells Christian that he is the longest running champion in the WWE at this time. Christian likes being told about that stat. He says that he is proud of being the ECW champion and he is proud that he has defeated all challengers.

We are interrupted by the man who would be the king of Bayside, Zack Ryder who is accompanied by Rosa Mendes in her best Jennifer Lopez outfit. Zack Ryder wants to talk about the biggest news of the week. We see the mugshot of Gregory Helms and then he talks about Helms’ recent arrest. Zack wants everyone to refer to him as the Heart and Soul Superhero of ECW. Christian asks Zack if he is jealous of Helms for making it on TMZ. Christian says that Zack is jealous of Helms because they are both on television, but Helms gets recognized. Zack mentions that he was in the Royal Rumble and Christian says that he blinked and missed it. Christian says that Helms made a mistake. Christian says that Tiffany made a mistake by giving Abe a talk show. Christian says that he made a mistake by coming on Abe’s talk show. Christian says that Zack made a mistake today thinking that his hair looked cool and then he made a bigger mistake hooking up with Tila Tequila. Zack pushes Christian but Christian pushes Zack back and we are out of time.

The show kicks off with William Regal standing in the middle of the ring. He says that it is, “his honor and your privilege” to introduce the NEXT ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson. Big Zeke makes his way out to the ring and starts to put himself over. He says that this Sunday at the Rumble he will in fact be claiming the ECW Championship Gold.

Christian’s music hits and he comes out to the entrance ramp. He points out that Jackson likes to quote the Bible. Christian says he has a quote of his own. Ezekiel 25:17 “I will strike down on those with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to destroy my brothers. And you will know, my peeps will know, that my name is Captain Charisma. When I lay my vengeance on thee”. I don’t think that was an EXACT quote, though maybe it is from the New Revised Standard Version….

Zeke says that Christian may be a comedian, but Christian has never faced an opponent like himself. Christian said that Zeke is correct that last week he was left sprawled in the ring, but in his defense, it was two against one. Christian said that this week he is evening the score, and Kane’s music hits! The Big Red Machine makes his way down to the ring, and this Tag Team match is up next!

Christian vs. William Regal (w/ Ezekiel Jackson)
They lock up and Regal backs Christian into the corner and he gives a clean break. They lock up again and they roll around the ring until Regal connects with a knee and then he gives Christian an arm drag as he starts to work on the arm and hand. Christian with an arm wringer as he works on Regal’s hand. Regal with a kip up and he tries for a reversal and he takes Christian down and gets a near fall. Christian with a near fall while they are in a knuckle lock.

Regal takes Christian down. They return to a vertical base and Regal returns to the arm and he stretches Christian. Christian with punches to Regal followed by a back body drop and Regal rolls to the floor. Christian with a hesitation drop kick and then he goes out after Regal and brings him back into the ring. Regal sees Jackson approach him on the apron and Christian goes to the floor and gets in Jackson’s face as we go to commercial.

Captain Charisma provided commentary at the ECW announce table as Jackson defeated former ECW Champions CM Punk, Matt Hardy and Kane, as well as Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu and Vance Archer. Jackson even single-handedly eliminated the three former ECW Titleholders himself. But will Jackson prove to be as dominant a force on Jan. 31 when he faces ECW Champion Christian at Royal Rumble?

Christian comes to the ring and he has something to say. He says that it is fitting that they are in Louisville, Kentucky because they are in the homestretch for ECW Homecoming to see who faces him at the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk interrupts Christian and he comes out with Luke Gallows. Punk says that while he is positive that what Christian had to say was important, nobody can say anything more important than what Punk has to say right now. Punk wants to know why Christian is grinning since he hasn’t really said anything. Christian tells Punk that last night he saw something that he would never see with Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels hugging in the ring. He is now seeing something he never wanted to see and that is CM Punk back on ECW. Punk says that being back on ECW is something Christian better get used to. Punk says that Christian’s title is why he is here. Homecoming is about former champions and stars coming back to get a chance to win the ECW Title. Punk says that he will win tonight and next week to face Christian at the Royal Rumble and win the title. Punk says that he will prove that by winning the ECW Title, he is better than everyone. He says that he is everyone’s savior. He says that he is a natural born leader. Punk says that ECW is home to the brightest, youngest, and newest stars. Punk says that he will be the shepherd and a role model for all of them. He will show them how to live the straight edge way.
